They will share the list with their teachers\/ parents.<\/p>\n<p><b>Resource: <\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> 40 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity:<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents will read the chapter and note down the questions or doubts that they have. They will discuss the questions\/doubts with their teachers\/parents.<br \/>\nTeacher\/ parents will ask questions such as:<br \/>\nWhat is the difference between natural and synthetic fibre?<\/p>\n<p>What are the sources of natural fibre?<\/p>\n<p>Can a natural fibre be converted to synthetic fibre? They will also find out how the manmade fibres are made in the laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>Students will find five objects from their surroundings under each types of fibre. They will write about the components, types of fibres and examples in their notebook and share with the teachers\/parents (Students can refer to the list made by them earlier)<\/p>\n<p>Students will find out about the life cycle of silkworm and how we get silk from them. Which state in India produces the most silk?<\/p>\n<p>The students will find out what is thermoplastic and thermosetting? They will explain with example. <b><br \/>\nResource: <\/b><br \/>\nStudents can take help of the text book and search the internet for information.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Day 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> 40 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 1 (Assessment)<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents will create a poster on disadvantages of Plastic on nature and will share it with their teachers. Students may create the poster on paper or using applications such as postermyworld, pictochart etc. The poster should explain:<br \/>\nHow plastic is harmful to nature.How is it affecting birds, animals, sea animals etc.How we can minimize the harmful effect on natureThe 4R\u2019s, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover <b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> 45 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2 (Assessment)<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents will find out the answers of the following questions:<br \/>\nWhy plastic containers are often used at home compared to glass and metallic containers?<\/p>\n<p>Why electronic switches and other electronic devices are mainly made up of thermosetting plastic?<\/p>\n<p>Can we store pickles in metallic jars?
