Day 1
Time: 20 minutes Activity: The students will list down what kind of settlement can be seen around their homes and will share their response in the WhatsApp group or message the teacher or will share with their parents. Time: 30 minutes Activity: |
Day 2
Time: 30 minutes Activity: The students will select 2 villages and 2 cities around them and will compare the population of five years and present it through a chart. They can draw the same in their notebook. they will try to find the following answers: Take a picture and share with teachers or discuss with your parents. Resource Time: 30 minutes Activity: The students will take a map of Assam or their own district and identify different land forms and what kind of agriculture happen in those landforms. They will discuss the findings with their parents or will share with their teachers. Resource |
Day 3
Time: 60 mins Assessment: Students will find the answers of the following questions and will share with teachers and parents:What is the significance of different types of settlement? What is the difference of village and city/town settlement? They will find the differences in population, employment, education, economy etc. The students will draw a map of their village/ town/ city on paper and mark their house and identify the type of settlement under which the village/town/city comes. Resource: The students can take help from their parents, family members etc. |
