Day 1
Time: 20 mins Activity 1: The students will make a list of the vegetables that are available in the kitchen and will prepare a list. They will represent it using any graph. Then they will share it with their teacher. Time: 40 mins Activity 2: The students will find the height and weight of the family members and will calculate the BMI. They will present it through a graph and will identify whose BMI is the highest. |
Day 2
Time: 20 mins Activity 3: The students will conduct a survey with their friends and siblings on their favourite sport and represent it in a graph. Day 3
Time: 30 mins (for each activity) Assessment: The students will write 3 reasons on, what is the use of data in our daily life.The students will collect 2 weeks’ newspaper and will check the temperature chart of their city/village. Then they will make 2 different graphs with the highest and lowest temperature of the 2 weeks from that data and share it with the teachers. The students will conduct an interview with the nearest food stall/restaurant to take a data on the customer frequency level of one day and will present it in a chart. They will share it with the teacher. |
