Early Palaeolithic age

Learning Objective:  

  1. The students will get an idea of the characteristic of Palaeolithic age.
  2. The students will get an idea of the significance of fire in human civilization.
Day 1

Time: 20 mins

Activity 1:

The students will search on ‘primitive people’ using different resources such as books, internet etc and will write a story on ‘primitive people’ and will share it with the teacher/ they can tell the story to their family member.

Activity 2:

The students will go through the chapter and will highlight the doubts which they will discuss with the teacher over phone call or in the whatsapp group.
Then the students will write the name of the age that they have read and will fill in the sheet

Day 2

Time: 20 mins

Activity 3:

The students will write the significance of ‘fire’ in human civilization in 150 words. (how is it invented, what was its effect in civilization, etc) and will share it with their teachers. The students may also create a poster or a video using mobile applications if they have access

Assessment:

Students may write the answer in their notebook and share with their teachers or use mobile applications to create a poster or multimedia presentation or a small video.
