Learning Objective:

  • The students will be able to know about different sports persons of the country and their struggle to achieve success.
  • It will increase student’s vocabulary.
  • They will be able to know different types of tenses and its uses in real life.
  • They will be interested towards sports, games etc.
Day 1

Time: 30 mins

Activity:
The students will go through the text of the lesson and read it aloud once. Before reading they will click the link in the resource to understand model reading with proper pronunciations.

Time: 20 mins

Activity:

The student will look at the picture of page number 31 in their textbook and find the names of the sports persons along with the sports they are related. Then with the help of their family members they will find some of such sports persons of their state and will write their name.

Activity:
The students have to prepare the summary of the lesson in English and share with the teacher/ parents.

Day 2

Time: 30 mins (for each activity) 

Assessment:
The students will list down 30 verbs that is used in the text “Dhyan Chand” and will note it down. They will mention which tense is used for the verbs.

The students will write a biography of a famous sports person of their state in English (100-150 words)

The students will go through the activities that is in the book and solve the activities in their copy (The students will go through the mentioned links in the resources to find correct answer.)
