Learning Objectives:
- Students will get an idea on fundamental geometrical shapes and about their features.
- They will get an idea about the geometrical shapes in the environment and their application.
Day 1
Time: 10 minutes Activity: Time: 30 minutes Activity: The students will take 2 threads or ropes. They will create different lines and curves using the thread. Take picture or draw picture and share with teacher/parents.The students will then make different geometrical shapes with the help of stick / matches, draw the same figures on the copy and write the name of the shapes and their properties. The students will then share it with the teacher/ parents. The students will find objects in their surroundings which matches the shapes that they have created and will write the names in their notebook and share.
